The Mist In The Night
The dense
fog creeps into the night
Damp, moist what evil does this possess?
It's like a white blanket what a sight
Acting as if it's the night's unholy guest.
Seeing in
front of yourself, not much you can do
So dark, but yet everything looks white
Nights like this, I've only seen a few
This goes on for miles and miles.
So what
evil lurks in the mist?
I feel chilled to the bone
Engulfing everything like a festering cyst
In this fowl mess I feel so alone.
The mist
so eerie, evil, and rank
It is a night for diabolical things
For evil children to play pranks
Making people feel it's dampening sting.
Yes, a
night to be full of fright
It's as if it beckons to me
From the deep womb of the night
As if saying "With me happy you will be."
Unsanctified Love
Accepting
the strange flowers sent to me
They have an ungodly frightening stanch
From my new love with who I hope I will always be
I really care for him, in his eyes I'm not just another wench.
I will
dress and look my best
I want to entangle him in my web
He says I'm different from the rest
Without a doubt I should pass his test.
Tonight I
think he plans to ask me to wed
Some place special he says we shall go
I will take any path with him even go to my death
This without a doubt I hope he knows.
The realm
of hell with him I would pursue
Pleasing him, loving him, always to be his bride
Men like him are very few
From him I would never run and hide.
We meet in
the garden full of flowers
His piercing eyes look down at me
Slowly kissing me as feelings within me stir
Then, him saying,
"By the break of dawn at rest I shall have to be."
