Jaques Brown wrote poetry up to about age 24 and stopped for about ten
years, taking it up again in 2003. A lot of his early work was done while doing active service in the mechanized infantry. In the ten years that he did not write, he had various occupations including bricklayer, locksmith, driver, and barman. He is currently completing his BA degree in languages (Afrikaans and English). He has also started writing short stories and has had some work published on the website of www.abctales.com. |
