Nemesis Grieving
Storm clouds swallow mountains,
Rousing mist licks,
Deep valleys with its fingertips.
Obscurity weeps onto the lowlands,
A mottled shadow cast,
To hide the slight of hand.
Lightening carves Earths epitaph,
Barbed trenches chronicle the last
chapter.
Fire bleeds from the fractures,
As blood from an open wound.
Toothed chambers regurgitate impurities,
Tainting malachite, marbled skies.
Thunderous rumbling resonates,
To deafen this screaming land.
Death, an infinite shroud,
Promised peace, and yet,
Delivered us to the bowels
Of Abaddon,
Lest we bygones forget.
