My name is Darin Park. I was born in Newfoundland, Canada, moved to Nova Scotia, and was educated in the public school system until I decided to go out to make some money.
After numerous false starts, I settled into court recording and transcription have have been doing that since my my mid 20s. I've sold eight fantasy short stories, one of which won Publisher's Choice Award in Futures Magazine in 2001. I've just put out a compilation called "The Complete Guide To Writing Fantasy" with 14 other authors and I am in the process of writing a novel entitled "Once Upon A Time (Twice If You Screw Up)." I've just turned 40 and looking forward to retiring in about 20 years....
