Dream of  Pond Lily

As a still hill glowing in twilight,
my desire awakes--
Waves from the faraway ocean
cradle me; warm breezes stir quicksand.

I am a pond lily,
in its own petaled reflection.
With silent echoes,
Ripples quiver
and die away as day comes.

Whisper

I will go further
on a summer night,
rest on moonlit blossom.

I will ask clouds
weaving their magic,
leaves shutting their eyes.

But, I won't let go of
cool fireflies or hot gazes,
till the cocoon unwraps.

On a sudden turn,
my wish as a butterfly
is for the wind
to reveal
your whisper.
